About Me
- Icarus
- I was born and grew up in Northern California. I went on an LDS mission to Cali, Colombia for two years, which was one of the most important experiences of my life, other than being married. I am married to a wonderful woman. After returning from Colombia, I attended Central Washington University, Ellensburg,WA where I got a BA degree in Spanish with a minor in Latin American Studies, and a BA in Geography and Land-Use planning with a minor in Fine Art. I am currently attending Indiana University working on a PhD degree in Hispanic Literature focusing on Fragmentation and disruption in literary narrative as an effect of political or national trauma. I speak Spanish, English and Portuguese and hope to learn a few more languages along the way.

The Bandit
We have an intruder, albeit a cute one in the garden. I don't mind sharing my bulbs and plants as long as he leaves some for us to appreciate. He and his family are awfully cute and don't seem to mind us sitting at the porch doors and watching them scurry around the plants and over the rocks. I'm glad that my garden can provide a home for these little guys.
